Weekends are rough!

A lot of these lessons come at eerily perfect times.  With the weekend I've had, it's only fitting to learn the sleeping TOOLS, I'll need them.

I just wanted to express a little frustration about weekends.  I've been having trouble staying focused on my goals during the weekend.  I do really well all week, following the checklist, working out, eating well.  Then the weekend comes and I tend to let myself go.  I eat what I want, I don't work out in lieu of "more fun" activities, and I don't take the time to think about my behavior and thought processes.

I am slowly getting better though, and I'm sure if I keep working on myself, I can train my brain and my body to do the things I need to do all the time.  Well, time to try the sleeping tips.  Good night!

weekends

Since I started TOOLS I have still kept my weekends open.  I do not really log in on Sat, Sun.  I have made a change, not to smoke cigs anymore and that will not change on the weekends.  Not including the things that I have chosen to quit will still make for a good time.  All about attitude for me.  Don't feel bad.

practice makes perfect

I have the same problem.  I could lose 2 pounds during the week, go to sleep early every night, work hard every day, do everything right.. then bam! I knock the board over and have to pick up all the pieces again on Monday.

I have been getting better though and every weekend I notice I am being slightly more responsible.  I think it may just take time and perseverance.  We'll nail it.

Good luck!

Weekends...

Logging in to tools on Saturday and Sunday are the perfect start to my day. They actually inspire me to have a great upcoming week.

Each person will walk their own steps in this program, but it's cool you're admitting you are flawed (like we all are). Iit's the first step to a new you. We all are here to make our lives better and more fulfilling. Hey, at least you're still logging in and doing the work!

And you're right, the tips come in the most eerie times. I've pleasantly found that out several times in the readings.

Good luck and hang in there!
