Sense of urgency to do something for the community (Part 1)

Hi all,

It's been a few days since I have blogged.. Mainly because my husband is back and have been spending sometime with him. Since my baby is coming real soon (anytime from now actually!). I wanted to spend more time with my family.

Now, I'm back! And very happy today.

Just so grateful to God who created me, give me life, family and also my daughter. Anticipating the birth of my baby girl is truly exciting and special moment!

I have just came back from my weekly walk..When I started walking this morning, I have a sudden urge that came right from my heart and soul to do something more for the community!

I was inspired by Tyre Banks Show yesterday. Tyre interviewed 3 wonderful and inspiring ladies on why and what are the difference they are doing for the community.

One was teaching children to dance for free! and had a place in the neighbourhood for children to go to for their spare time or homework time. She did this fulll time and had not much money to work with yet she is making a diiference in the children's life!

The other was a mother who set up a community for the autistic children volunteering and assisting them to excel in life. She did that because she had a autisitic child too.

The last lady was empowering women and young girls to succeed their dreams by supporting them in education etc..

These 3 ladies had done so much for the community without having any salary! I am so inspired by their strength, determination to make a difference and esp. their love for the people they are impacting!

Because I know I couldn't have done any community work without financial security.

At the end of the show, each of the ladies was given a Chevrolet car as an appreciation on behalf of the people they are makeing a difference to.

till then, I was tearing.. not because they have won a car each and hooray for them! But for the people who had lived because of them and also the work they have done!

The ladies also teared when they received their cars.

I thought this morning that If I am them, I should be crying for the difference I have made for the community I've worked in.

Sometimes we don't realise the things we do big or small will affect the people around us/community we live in.  The Tyre banks show served as a reminder for me to do something NOW!

To be more focused on the mission of "saving mankind". To be aware that there are always people in need. And to also strategise how my business can impact & improve my community & country! Don't ever belittle even the smallest thing that I have put my heart and soul to. Keep moving forward with courage and determination believing that this world will change to a better place.

 Love, Dom... Wink
