Fears.....Well damn.

Okay, okay. Yes I have been letting my fears hold me back. I have been letting them hold me back for a long time. Fear of rejection, fear of failure, fear of loneliness, fear of death, and so on and so on. I have had such horrible experiences with women where my first relationship while lasting three years; became an abusive nightmare which ended when I found out she was cheating on me. I know it is my fault I should have seen the signs earlier and ended it long before that. Again FEAR! It held me back. The fear of being alone. I have watched my parents over my almost 23 years on this planet, and their fantastic relationship. My parents got married when my mom was 19 and my dad was 22. I have held all standards of relationships to something akin to theirs. I know I need to stop that. I know that not all relationships are the same. I know the reason my relationships since then have been pithy and self absorbed. It's because I have a really hard time trusting the person I am with. It is my fault. I fear that when I walk onto my college campus that I am being singled out cause I am older than everyone else in the room. Oh man. I have way to many fears. Let's start breaking these fears. Let's start living life. I know that I am going to break these fears during the course of tools. I know I can do it. I may only be on day thirteen, but damnit TOOLS has already helped improve my mood and my self esteem. I know that if I just follow these checklists and do it day by day nothing can stop me reaching my goals. Reaching my dream life. I can do it. This day is mine!
