Forget about it!

Wow ... I am continually amazed at how the things we need come hitting us smack dab in the face when we need then.

Such it was today with the readings on forgetting about issues in the past.

Dev's analogy hit home and was just what I needed.

I had an 'incident' with my ex last night at a family function and it was an incident that immediately brought back 30 years of hurt and emotions and while no one there knew but me how affected I was, it made me realize ... I had to "FORGET ABOUT IT".

It sure feels good when you flush that toilet, wash your hands and leave that environment.

I will use this analogy at every future family function ... the bathroom may become my new best friend! lol (after all ... there are ALWAYS bathrooms near by - when 'situations' arise - it's easy to go flush them down the toilet!).

I feel empowered!

I am so grateful for this day!

Janet
