THANK YOU FOR READING MY BLOG

So its been awhile since I talked to you and I do truly miss all. Man what a crazy year, full of ups and downs, soul searching, loss, gains you name it this year has been a wild ride. My wife and I have made it through the busiest part of our year and are doing good, the kids are back in school and things are starting to level out. That was until yesterdays phone call. My friend Freddy who you all know from the events this spring, has a dad named Fred also, he is a Patriot Guard Rider and Yesterday morning he left his house as he had so many other times. If you don't know what that is they do escorts for military and other related events. If you have never seen them it is a very moving thing. They volunteer there services to pay respect to others, they were at Freddy's memorial and I was speechless, 40 bikers holding a flag line as we pulled up to the churh left me without words all I could do was cry, it was such an honor. Well just a couple miles from his house and within site of Freddy's final resting spot a car pulled out broadside in front of his bike, he hit it and died on the scene, even worse his wife was in the car right behind him and witnessed the entire accident. I know, the only thing you can say is FUCK! Well its just fucked I am very close to there family and this is once again very dificult, they just lost Freddy and now Fred. We drove down to get Freddy's daughter yesterday, whom his parents have temporary custody of right now to help, shes only 7 and does not know, the family needs a little time to compose themselves. Its so hard to look at here and know that she has lost the two most important men in her life. But when you see her inocent smile and her constant, infectous happiness, you realize that its going to be alright, nothing can cover up her smile. Fred senior honered so many in his work with the PGR and I will do all I can to honor him. If you took the time to read this I thank you from the bottom of my heart and to my friend I say RIDE THE WIND, may people like you not soon be forgotin.
