I am currently without a clear path. I have 2 sons 17 and 13 so the nest is pretty empty these days. Which is both very good and very bad. I was laid off 2 years ago which was pretty perfect timing. I had some health issues to take care of and my mom had some health issues and needed taking care of so I guess in hindsight it was a good thing. Now, "Project build good men" is just about complete and everyone is happy and healthy I have the opportunity to explore new things and have no idea how or where to start. I am finally at a place where I can do whatever I want and find myself unable to figure it out.

I value honesty above all things. I enjoy all kinds of music and dancing. I'm a sucker for big puppy eyes and I HATE cell phones.

Let's see, my dad was a mechanic and my mom was a stay at home mom until he passed away. I was very much a latch key kid from then on. I was raised in a rural area and am an only child. The closest other child was a mile away but she and I were the best of friends. I enjoyed school and used reading as a means of escape. By the time I was in highschool my mom was an alcoholic and she huffed to get high. I spent a lot of time taking care of her. I suppose that's where the need to nurture comes from. I met my husband in highschool and in hindsight know that it was his need for rules and structure that drew me to him. I did not get that at home. We dated on again and off again until after highschool. He offered me an ultimatum and I took it. I wasn't deeply in love with but it was the lesser of two evils from my point of view. We were married in November and by February I was pregnant. When my son was born I took my job as mom very seriously. I wanted to give him the very best chance at good life, so any marital problems we might have had took the back seat. He deserved a 2 parent household and I have devoted my life to being his and his brothers' mom ever since. I regrets, things I have missed out on, but I know I have done a good job creating good men and I'm proud of who they are.
