Well....I don't agree with that but I sure love that it motivates and inspires you.

Often reality and life do things that have nothing to do with us...life sucks because stuff happens. We do not have control over everything. Sure we'd love to think so because that's pretty reassuring. 

But as you say, we can always choose how we REACT and respond to any situation or event. That's our constant and incredible power.  No matter what, even in the concentration camps or jail or poverty or illness or loss, the human spirit can make choices on how to respond and how to think about the situation.

So what if we change it to "Life Sucks because your THINKING sucks!" That is probably always true.

Your are right..."life sucks because your thinking sucks" is the more accurate interpretation. It's about having control of our thoughts and emotions.

Many people dont realize that thoughts are living things, and with repetition, they manifest into the physical real life equivalent.   Be it good or bad.

The great part, like you said, we can choose what to plant!
