Day 25 and Day 26

As a result of Day 25 I have moved up my appointment to get my yearly physical. I am required by work to get yearly physicals to be apart of our Emergency Response Team. I work in a Chemical Plant and we do work with some nasty chemicals. I have been trained to respond in the event of a spill and we»

Time Management and the TO DO LIST

I was really excited today while reading Tools when I found out I was actually doing something good before Coach Steele told me to. The TO DO LIST. I can not express how important this is in my daily life and I hope everyone realizes how powerful a tool this is. I went through the Fra»

Self Control

After doing the reading from today a single line is stuck in my head. "...by learning the only control we have is self control." That is truely a powerful statement. There are so many things in my life that I try and micromanage. If I can learn to let more things go and laugh mor»

Day 18 Reflection

As I sit in the warm sunshine I am reflecting on completing my 18th day of Tools.  My wife yesterday made some comments to me that stuck out so I thought I should share them.  My wife has been a big support group for me. I have emailed and also printed out the readings and it has»

Fear

Today has been a cause for deep self reflection. I am starting to question a lot of decisions in my life and wondering if those decisions were made out of fear. If where I am right now is because of decisions made out of fear I start to wonder where I really should be? The fact remains I am whe»

Hard not to complain...

As of late I have found it very hard not to complain. With the economy being the way it is my job has been a roller coaster. It has been easier to complain and say it's not my fault! I am catching myself complaining and I am imagining a mirror in front of me. I am complaining about myself.&»

Slipped a few days but back on track...

I think this program is alive at times. I have been swamped and lost a computer with hard drive problems so Ihad every excuse in the book why I could not log in and do my tools. So I come back today and it is all about not making excuses. Talk about a reality check.  »

My wife on being late...

I have been going through the Tools and I talk about the Tool days with her over dinner. Yesterday was about being late.  I get crazy if I know we are going to be late. I would rather be there 20 minutes early than 1 minute late. My wife on the other hand is the complete opposite. She jokes tha»
