My wife on being late...

I have been going through the Tools and I talk about the Tool days with her over dinner. Yesterday was about being late.

I get crazy if I know we are going to be late. I would rather be there 20 minutes early than 1 minute late. My wife on the other hand is the complete opposite. She jokes that she will be late to her own funeral.

I in a very strategic and carefully chosen words told her that she was making the decision to be late. That seemed to maybe crack the ice. I printed out the reading and I am not sure if is she has read it but I am wondering if there are other ways to reinforce with her the importance of being on time?

Being late

My husband was much like you, only it was more like 30 minutes early to everything.  I was always late to church and often to appointments, as well.  When we got married he kept at me until I started being 5 minutes early to everything.  He is now only 10-15 minutes early.  I guess we balanced out somehow.  Our first few months were pretty stressful making all the adjustments but we are good now.:)
