Atkins worked for me in the past but is it the best for me?

 I have done very well on Atkins and enjoyed the diet. When my job turned upside down I fell off the wagon.Should I go back on Atkins or is there something better out there?

In my opinion, while Atkins gets it right as far as avoiding refined carbohydrates like breads, the high saturated fat content of cheese and some of the meats is not healthy.

South Beach is similar but healthier; The Mediterranean Diet is good;

The Paleo Diet, by Loren Cordain, is in my opinion the healthiest way to eat.  It will also take weight and fat off like you wouldn't believe.  You still eat carbs in the way of fruits and vegetables.  Worth looking into, definitely.
