Back to Tools

I started my new company in March, and we are off to a pretty good start! I generated income that exceeded my startup expenses, but certainly not enough to live on and cover what my salary used to be.

But the idea here is not just to start a company to replace my job. This company was created to find us some freedom, and I intend to stay focused on that. So I cannot just look to cover a now missing salary. I have to find ways to grow this business far beyond that into something that will allow me to spend the time I want to with my wife and kids, and do things we have wanted to do. I believe we can do it, but there are many details to fill in to create the HOW.

I can do it. I am a successful businessman, and I have the skills and determination to succeed.

I have come back to tools now that the kickoff is over so I can find my focus and make sure we get there as fast as possible. Savings are now depleted with the startup and all, so I am talking the tightrope without a net.

I am told that a vast majority of businesses start up without reserves for months to allow a comfortable launch and growth. But it doesn't make me feel a whole lot better in the end.  :)

Fortunately, my company can reach out to customers all over the US and Canada easily, and even into other English-speaking countries. My company provides valuable computer repair and support services over the Internet.

If we can't fix your computer, you don't pay a dime.

And that's that.  Here's to our rapid success!
