Very Slow Progress Here...

I am finding it very difficult to make progress in Tools every day. It's been MANY days, and I am now on Day 6.  :(

I am very busy at work, commuting, and then with the family at home. I guess I could get up earlier, but already my nights are short because I try to get personal things done (my own home business, family finances, etc.) done before going to bed at night. Sometimes that takes a while.

Maybe 1 night a week, I will spend some time in the evening relaxing, maybe watching a TV show on my TiVo, or going out with my wife for drinks and to talk. Maybe once or twice a month, I'll fit a short few rounds of a computer game or something to help wind down a little. All in all, my days are pretty full, and seldom spent wasting away time. Perhaps some adjustments can be made to making the most of my time while still allowing for time to "sharpen the saw" so to speak...

...but it's been tough to fit in more than 1 or 2 items in the toolbox into a day, if I can even "steal" away time to get into it in the first place. I even have it set as a home page in my browser to keep me reminded to try to fit in more time. Writing this blog entry has been the most time I have spent at it in weeks...

Time for me

What strikes me is you keep coming back to it.

That implies it calls to you or you feel a need for it.Yet you haven't made a space for it in your day.

I wish for you that you do. Make room for it. How about just for one week? Commit that for one week, every single day, you will give the time to TOOLS? See what happens. Let us know.  I'm pretty sure it can't do much for you if you do one day every couple of weeks.

You can do it, keep going! You can do it, keep going!

Keep going Jim!

I understand exactly where you're at and can only say making time for TOOLS by getting up at 5am has been one of the best decisions of my life.

Wait till you get to Day 11 and you'll know exactly what I mean!

Keep going! You are awesome!

You're a winner! You're a winner!

Pete

Please keep trying

Hey Buddy! You keep coming back, You haven't quit trying ;give yourself some credit and keep coming back.

I think coach is on to something here .

I feel silly doing the morning routine in font of my family, they give me strange looks often.

I know in time they will be able to see the results of the well spent time in tools!

I'm hopeful for us all, lets make it through together.

Best Regards,  debhendrtt

we're just a few key strokes away!
