volunteering

well, well - I have spent over 40 years doing voluntary work and I have to agree that many of the young folk have had life changing experiences through many of the activities

This is being stated to support the TOOLS desire that you get involved with voluntary work - it does make a difference

Just over 4 years ago the Prime Minister in the UK - Mr Tony Blair wrote to me indicating that he had passed my name to Her Majesty The Queen - recommending that I be given an award for my services to young folk and education

The MBE was presented by Her Majesty at a ceremony in Buckingham Palace - a tremendous experience - it's like an ordinary citizen in the USA being given The Presidents medal in The Whitehouse for services to the country

I'm still involved with volunteering - as a Rotarian and other church based activities

I can only suggest that you 'pass it forward' and give a small amount of time to someone else

Jimmy
