On the right track

Ok, so I got up on time this morning (vacation schedule) 

I took my friend to drop off her car to be worked on.  I came home and looked at my pathetic flower beds and actually started weeding them.  I only got through one in the spring and I have several.  I was really on a roll, but we got hit with severe thunderstorms and a tornado touched down in town.  Unfortunately, it didn't take my weeds with it.

Maybe just the fact that I put in print how pathetic my flower beds look, made me take action.  Who knows?  Works for me.

Tomorrow is another day, and I have my class reunion this weekend.  It makes me a little anxious because I never went to college like most of my classmates.  I was never sure what I wanted to do and now, raising my kids alone it isn't the right time to go back to school myself. 

I am working my part time home business, and by the time the next reunion rolls around I will be completely working from home, which is a dream come true.

(My flower beds will be spotless then)
