"Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears...." Lmao!!! Nothing like Shakespeare to grab the attention of the masses!
I just completed day 30 in my tools program and I have to say it does feel great! What truly has me in awe is the visualization technique I just encountered in day 30.
I have read many books on improving yourself and they all talk about visualizing as if you are in the future event you want to achieve. Napoleon Hill really emphasizes this in his book, "Think and Grow Rich." I did what he told me to do in the book, such as goal setting, affirmation cards, ect..... I always had a problem when it came to the visualization component though. I would visualize the future event, but I just really didn't believe it could happen. For some reason, I always envisioned the problems that I would encounter trying to reach that future moment. Basically, my future moments sucked lol!
Then I stumbled upon this site and program. I am not going to lie. I have not followed my checklist like I'm suppose to. Due to this, I thought the goal setting component nor the visualization technique was going to work for me. Boy, was I wrong! I actually went on ahead and did the excercise and was lost in the beauty of my future events!
I could actually see myself in those future moments enjoying myself! One scene had me running around the park with my shirt off (I use to do that quite a lot when I was in shape lol). Then I was whisked away to a hotel in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil watching the sunset smoking on a cohiba cigar. Another scene showed my career was thriving and I was closing more deals. The glaring point to these future moments was that I did not let problems enter them. I was like holy crap! Napoleon Hill was right!
As I sit here and drink a bottle of water I just want to say thanks to all the people who have supported me on this site. I definitely want to send a BIG THANK YOU to Coach Steele whose hard work is helping to transform this midwestern guy into the man he always dreamed that he could be.
