What a weekend!

Nothing will motivate you like having you house painted inside. I know it sounds silly but it got my mind going with all of these ideas of what I wanted to do.  Even though they are far from being done.

Though I am unable to help with painting I was thinking of little things I could do. I looked at the curio (sp?) cabinet and thought I could decorate that inside. So I took everything out of it and put the stuff away.

Then a friend took me to the store to buy oriental flowers. I already had my grandmothers chinese tea cups and my figurines from DaRuMa. While alone in the house on saturday night I decorated the inside so it has just a relaxing touch of orient.

See the living room walls are sandy beach in color and then I have one wood panneled wall and case leading into the dinning room. We are going to get all black picture frames to  put family pictures on one sandy beach wall.

Plus my father-in-law wants to start tai chi class on friday and wants me to go with him. I am so excited about that as well. A lost of positive things are happening and I am very excited.

Good for you!

Sounds like you have made alot of positive moves ... I espeically love the attitude.  Good for you!  Bet the curio is not only pretty, but Granmother would probably be pleased you took the time to display them!!

Ill bet everytime you look at it yourself, You feel a sense of accomplishment!  Enjoy!!!  Great job!
