Our Eyes Play Games on Us!

That's right, they play games on us. They only see what the mind allows them to see. 

For example I have been losing weight and inches but when I look at myself I still see the person that I was. This is why when you ask someone that has an eating problem of any kind they never see what they really look like. 

The ones that look like they have been starved to death still see themselves as fat. 

The ones that look like they are about the right size or you know have been losing weight still see the fat person they were. 

We have to realize that when we look at ourselves in the mirror we need to look through the eyes of a stranger or one that has not seen us for a very long time. 

I saw some friends over the weekend that hadn't seen me for a couple of years and they couldn't get over the change in me. How much smaller I am and healthier I am. 

Today during water exercise my friend pointed out one of the women and told me I am now smaller than she is. It amazed me because I feel as if I am the largest one in the class. 

SO don't believe what your eyes always tell you. Don't play the games and end up losing in the end and giving up on your goals in defeat. For when it is all told you were winning all the time but just couldn't see it.
