Tomorrow Is a Big Step for Me

 

I will be attending my first networking meeting. I joined a group in town for women of different backgrounds and they and meet and greets at different places each month. 

 

Tomorrow will be the first one I will have ever attended. I have often thought of joining such groups and going to get out and make friends but my weight and health as well as anxiety would keep me from it. 

 

In the past I would be invited by someone and then just before the event have a major anxiety attack and back out.  Not this time though, I am really excited about it. My father-in-law is going to take and drop me off and then pick me up later. 

 

An added bonus is that the resturaunt they are having it at has food I can eat. 

 

So I will let you know how it goes and if I manage to stay through the whole event.
