Don't go by the scale.

That is right you read it correctly. Don't base your progress just on what the scale says.

Many when trying to shed the weight live by the scale when in fact if you are exercising and eating a healthy diet as well as taking all natural supplements and vitamins there are changes going on. Changes you are missing.

For example I retain water so I can gain 5 to 7 pounds over night and then loose it in a few hours or maybe over night. Some people weigh everyday and this is not a good idea because you will be focused on the wrong thing.

What you are missing for one thing is the tape measure. Your body is changing and inches are disappearing. Your clothes are fitting better. You are able to get around easier and breath better. But did you pay any attention to those changes. Probably not just because the scale did not change as rapidly as you thought it should.

Remember lean muscle weighs more than fat. So as you are changing step away from the scale. Unless you have a medical reason to weigh everyday I would suggest weighing only twice a week.

Start taking inventory of your body and notice the changes. It sounds scarier than it really is. Believe me when you start noticing all of the little changes in your body you are going to find motivation to continue on your journey coming from within you.
