Thank you

I cannot think of better time to write this letter than tonight.

Christmas Eve 2008.

I think it is time to share a little of what has been going on.

During this last year I have been blessed with the support of many wonderful people.  Also in the last week or so several of you have boosted me or sent me notes of encouragement.  Some of you have been there for me from the beginning. Some have been discovered along the way.  Either way “Thank You” for being here for me.

To all appearances I have been falling behind in my “Tools Program” and to be sure, you would be correct.  In a way I have to blame the Tools Program itself.  When you begin using Tools you should ready to have change in your life.  You should be ready to be busy.

If you have joined this program and are not willing to change.  You might just have to delete your profile and look elsewhere. You must expect and look forward to change.  Not all change is happy or easy, it is just different, and that can be frightening.

This has been a very challenging year for me, in part because I elected to start this program.

I am a dancer and I am also the owner of my own Dance Studio.  Because of this program I have had to look at myself in a different way. It may sound odd, but I am my business. I have made changes that affected my studio and my relationships with my students and others that enter into this orbit.  My business has grown even in a “down time.”

Thanks to this program I have less junk around the house, I have started to write, I get more done, my schedule is more organized.  I get things done I would have put off before.  I have been a terrible procrastinator in my life.

My personal life has had some changes, I am less willing to be taken advantage of.  Eventually you have to decide what is good for you.  Then do something about it.  Some changes are painful but have to be made if you are to be your own person.  This one is the hardest because I hate hurting someones feelings.

I have so very much more to do, but I am closer than before to being the person I was meant to be.  I cannot thank you all enough for your support.

Now I have one more thing.  Please don’t give up on me these last days of 2008.  I want to finish this program.  I only have just a handful of days left to finish this. I could use a little push.  The notes and boosts of the last few days have been the catalyst that got me going again.

I need you guys.  Thanks Ron

Its only a matter of time now before you make it to the end, but savour it don't rush it.

All strength to the power of dance, in this down time, it may be a welcome escape for some people.

Dear dear person you

We need you too. I am relieved and happy to see a post from you. You're a strong member with depth in what you have to say. I always look forward to news of you, and your reflections on things. I hope I've been as strong a support in your journey, especially regards belief in yourself, and sticking with your writing. I appreciate as well your comments on my writing Inspirations. (What? no comments? Well...there's a place you could improve. Who am I writing for, if not members like you? How can we all be a community, and learn and grow and enjoy each other, if we don't leave comments?).

Growth IS a challenge. I agree. It is also deeply satisfying, as we become more and more closely what we are meant to be.

I'm tremendously proud of you and all you have struggled through, faced, and shared.

Don't quit now! Get that Graduate Certification! You worked for it. You earned it! You deserve it.  See you soon on the Graduate stage.

You can do it, keep going! You can do it, keep going!
