Being Brave Pays...

YES I CAN!!!  Heehee....

Turns out that when one takes the initiative to make a decision and STICK TO IT, success follows!  Who knew?  LOL...

Woke up having ANOTHER great day (Day 4 baby!).  Went to work (ON TIME!), started actually focusing on work (I'm trying folks...I have alot to improve!), when I was interrupted by a phone call.  I had done a video audition for a local acoustic group thats starting up, and guess what? They LIKED me!  And now, starting next week, I have a band!  Woot!  This is in addition to the other musical progress I've made in the last week, which includes getting involved in two hip-hop albums, deciding to work with the ladies of Toxic Rock Syndrome (look out world - we're COMIN UP!!!), and writing two new songs!!!

I had decided to make some major changes about a week before joining tools.  I started on that path, but immediately knew I needed help.  I was convinced that SOME wonderful soul out there HAD to have figured out that a SparkPeople-style self help site would be a blessing to millions.  And they DID!  And I am SO grateful. I feel that if I can stick to this, that improvement will absolutely follow.  Off to a great start!

I've never been a blogger, but damn this feels good!  To be able to tell folks about my successes and failures is nice.  Don't have to worry about the close judgement of friends, or the potential disinterest/distraction of my loopy lover. :-)  And it's less to annoy my coworkers with.  Hehehe...that being said, I'm going to work on putting more energy into the community here.  It's obviously one of the biggest boons of ToolsToLife.

LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL!!! Even when it sucks!  Now I just have to shake the last of my stage fright before next week!  Or at least make it less noticeable.  Confidence = sexy.  Confidence + Competence = SOLID GOLD.

;-)p

Thanks to everyone for the encouragement!  Keep rockin'!!!

xoxo

KK
