Almost to the other side of the wall!

I posted a couple days ago about my struggles and I want to take a second to say thanks to all of you who commented on it. It amazes me how quickly it helped simply to reach out to this support system. I felt a little better just writing the blog, but it really helped me after I read the comments people wrote. It helped to know that this is a supportive group and I can lean on my friends here when I'm struggling. My family support system was great through this time, but what I found really helped was reaching out on TOOLS. People reading that blog understood the kind of encouragement that would best help me because they are learning the same TOOLS that I am. My husband, as wonderful as he is, had no idea how to help me (but I love that he tried).

That said I have to say that once I wrote my blog I decided it was time to push through it. I focused on doing the checklist items that I had been slacking off on and then started taking action to improve the areas that were causing stress. I'm happy to say that, although I have not completely climbed to the other side of this wall, I am well on my way! Thank you all for your support. I'm grateful for the support system that I have here on TOOLS. You're all great people! Keep up the great work!

I do have to say after doing today's exercise that I wish I'd not let all the stress keep me from completing TOOLS each day! Maybe if I'd gotten to Day 42 sooner I wouldn't have struggled so long or so hard. But then... I'm not going to beat myself up for that. But I do encourage you. If you are stuck on a day in TOOLS, find a way to push through it and move forward to the next day as soon as possible. The next day in TOOLS may be a key to why you struggled with that day in the first place. Don't give up even for a day.... Keep going! It's SO worth it!

Isn't it weird how Devlyn just knows what we need exactly when we need it?  Makes a believer out of me!  Have a great week! ...Annie
