MY MOTIVATOR isnt getting the PUSH...

After I finished the TTL program… (which took me over a year to complete)  I developed my own little 90 day life-makeover and am about to finish it up Phase I.  It has worked out so well for me, that I have decided to start working on another 90 day cycle and see how far I can go with it.
I was talking to a close friend of mine the other night.  He and I have been friends for 36 years. (WOW).  Not any other friend knows me like this guy does.  We had a nice chat.  I was telling him about the TTL site and how it has affected my life.  I explained how it worked then told him it took me over a year to complete.  I further explained how I have my first self-imposed 90 day  life makeover… complete with tasklist…  solo flight almost finished.   When I explained to my friend, all of my accomplishments in the past 90 days … He was surprised and very proud of me.  That means a lot when a friend like him… who has it “together” --- is impressed with my “togetherness”.  It really felt good!
I’ve been very successful at making significant changes in my life each by taking it a day at a time and one step at a time.  I focused on a 90 day period.  I utilized the "The law of accumulation".  It has worked out real well.
I am now adding to my "task list"... that in the last 2-3 weeks of Phase II... to start planning Phase III based on the information acquired in Phase II.
In the past 90 days, I have obtained a job… replaced it with a job that works out better….began looking at career opportunites and interests…. Have narrowed the field of what started as about 15 interests down to about 4.  4 potential areas of career.  All which fit into the various catagories I have imposed on myself.  Ie.  Interest, desire, ability, fiancial goal, geographic location, etc, etc.   Have a lot of information in regards to how much more education is required to do them.  etc.
I am currently devoloping a plan to determine which is best for me.  I will be working on that plan in the next 90 days.  During Phase III, I hope to secure a pretty good job, make more money, have my act together alot better in many areas of my life.  Phase II will include steps to get there there. Phase II is about some training and attempting the #1 interest in one of the 4 chosen fields for the purpose of "trying it on".   Its a "whole-hearted" attempt of getting it right, on the first try... but openminded enough that if it isnt the right one.... I have a back up plan to work with!
Its one step at a time.  Its being and staying motivated... Its taking care of me and creating the life "I" want!
My Motivator isnt gettting the Push...
Its pushing myself...
I am.... my "motivator"!

WOW!

You are so inspiring!  It's good to know it took you awhile to finish Tools.  i often feel guilty when I fall behind. I feel bad that I can't keep up--be consistent.  Consistency is a big part of Tools.  I tend to be a rebel and frequently tell myself that being inconsistent is more interesting, less conformist.  However, I know now that I would have lots more time to be creative and interesting if I would just be more consistent! Your successful attitude is motivational!

nice work!!
