I certainly identify with what you've described as your inner terrain. I'm just beginning my PhD and am nervous about it. I'm already 56 and looking for development. You'll find it with tools. I sometimes attend Al-Anon. Tools ... go for it.

I joined TOOLS because:
 The start of a new year always inspires me to try something new, that may help me better my life.
You are offered your dream job. What job is it?:
 I actually love my job: college professor. BUT, my take home pay is insuficient and I worry I can't stay in the profession unless I can supplement my income considerably. I am interested in starting my own small export business focused on the part of the world I am an "expert" on and where I speak the language fluently. I want to spend this year learning what I need to know to do this successfully.
My favorite wild animal is:
 big cats of all kinds... lions, tigers, etc.
Why (describe as much as possible):
 Hard to say, but they represent power and feral intelligence. They do what they do, without hesitation or questioning themselves. They are group-oriented, form families that look out for each other --at least in so far as their survival instincts allow. They are also beautiful.
A famous Chef will prepare anything you want. What do you order:
 Roast Duck Hong Kong style.
Why:
 I saw it once on Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservations" and it looked yummy.
Five people either dead or alive you would have at your fantasy dinner party::
 Malinche (translator to Hernan Cortes); Martin Luther King Jr., Suze Orman, Barack Obama, Che Guevara.
Why:
 Well, I could translate for Malinche and Che, but I think it would be an interesting conversation about politics, money, ethics and life. All of these people are individuals I'd like to meet and talk to myself.

 New York style (thin crust), coal oven.

 I'd wish for a few million dollars, for my body to stay 36 years old for about a hundred years or so, and for ever-lasting internal peace.
