Wow day 4!....this is beginning to get trippy

It's amazing how sometimes one just needs some tweeking to reinforce the pearls of life already known.

I'm 38 years old and have been in executive sales&marketing in the healthcare sector for many years responsible for being innovative, having vision, building teams, motivating others to stay engaged, focussed and disciplined in all they do to achieve corporate goals.

I always felt like I was on top of everything and in control....after all I'm a natural born leader....right? Well, late last after a series of personal and professional challenges I hit a wall that left me Sandra "the invinceable' finally, Sandra 'the vulnerable'. The funny thing is, being the present minded individual I am, I knew I was walking in the direction of the wall, could even see it coming yet, did nothing to stop it. And because hindsight has 20/20 vision I even see where the Divine One sent angels to spare me the pain of the experience.  But, I ignored it. Nuts! Oh well, that's the past.

Now I marvel at the whole experience as I created my own environment to learn some very important lessons about life and love. 2009 was a huge spiritual awakening to my own walk with the Divine and resolve to become more attuned to fulfilling my spiritual purpose. What were my key takeaways?

Well sharing is caring as many of us know but, one must be aligned to sharing in a balanced and appropriate way in line with universal and spiritual principles. You can't share more that you have to give....thats a hard one to learn...especially if you're a giver. But my abundance is not greather than the Divine's. And the big one....giving is living. As I've journeyed through life in an effort to live in the most present minded way possible I often contemplate my reaction or non-reaction to things by quickly contemplating what would Jesus do in my situation? I often figured this makes sense as He and Buddha were the best transcended masters though all of history but, of course Jesus scaled the vertical levels of consciousness in such a away that made his vibe at unconditional love hit the tipping point 1000! I've found that behaving in this manner makes it really easy to make good things happen and stay present. Open to divine timing of events. Its amazing...I've tested this approach and some crazy stuff happens for sure! The other thing I know now though, after my experience last year is giving like Jesus did is also something I want to aspire to. Giving back to the tree of life such as, contributing in the best way I know how to create change on the planet, or  get involved in good causes that make sense and further the social consciousness of people in general but , also to look for opportunities to give of my time and resources. Lastly, I often think Jesus being who He was also knew the importance of giving back to the tree of self...again, when you know you are valuable to God and have so much to offer...you must also recognize your own personal value and be good to your own inner person taking the time necessary develop your well being. Launch with a wellness approach to self: body, mind and spirit.

Its not solely about the tree that keeps on giving but also about the tree that is given. If an individual is unhealthy in their approach to giving back to themselves everything else given externally becomes skewed and messy over time. Again, balance is critical to giving generously.

Now on day 4 of Tools to Life I feel that I am in the process of a RELAUNCH....taking advantage of an opportunity to live my best life and achieve the Divine's plan for my life. A mission to create change and make an impact in and of my life to advance in any area of my life.  The past is processing. I am feeling healed. Now because my spiritual development is an even bigger priority, I'm amazed at how Tools' approach to spiritual and universal principles via secular education is in line with what the Dalai Lama says in the Art of Happiness. I am ready to align my body, mind and spirit with the Divine through work, perseverance and courage reinforcing the hope that in doing so, everything will work out just fine.

In just 4 short days I'm starting to feel empowered like I once was but, with the perfect confidence that now I'm doing it God's way.  Thank you Tool's to Life...the Reinforcer that Life is a Gift. And everyday I'm reminding myself once I complete my checklist that slow and steady wins the race...Remember the turtle won!
