frustration

I got pretty frustrated at work today, and for once it wasn't because of idiot drivers!! I had to go to one of our customers and pick up a couple of trailers of freight they were shipping out. I already had one so that meant that I would have to pull a set of three trailers back to the yard.

First, I put the heaviest trailer in the middle, when it is supposed to be in the lead, so I had to pull everything apart and rebuild my set. I get the trailers in the right order and start hooking up airlines, on the front gear, the airline was broken, so once again I had to pull everything apart get another gear and put it all together again. That wasn't the end of it all but I won't bore you anymore.

Here is my lesson, day 12 in tools talks about complaining, and I was. But it all comes back to me because if I had checked everything and made sure it was right before I started then it would have went much smoother.

2nd lesson  By the time I got back to the yard, I was in a much better mood. Which made something click in my head. As long as I am moving forward, I am happy. When I am not putting forth the effort to move I  feel frustrated and depressed.

Sorry about the lengthy sermon, but hopefully it will help someone.
