Hope.

Last night I picked up an extra shift at work. At lunch time we were all sitting around the table in our break room and one of the younger guys there was talking about going back to school, and how excited he was about it. I popped off with a sarcastic comment like I do all too often and said, "Oh, you young kids with all your silly hopes and dreams!"

While at the time it was said completely in fun, and what I thought to be humor, it made me think the rest of the night about what I had done with all of my hopes and dreams. I love my job but years ago I remember wanting  so much more.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way, but I just keep making excuses for not pursuing my dreams.

After all I'm only 30, and I still feel very young, so why shouldn't I be one of those young kids with all these silly hopes and dreams.

I want to start dreaming again, and working towards my dreams.

Make it Happen!

30 IS young! And you'll still have hopes and dreams when you're 60! It's mostly about making those dreams come true. They are not silly or hopeless. I see you want to go back to school for business management. Think about the steps you would need to take and post them on your life list.  Then check each one off as you complete it. I guess all I'm saying is go for it, don't bite your nails and wait!  A friend of mine recently realized her dream of self-publishing her novel.  It took a lot of hard work to overcome some of her fears, but she did it.  She feels successful and ready to work on her next "dream" novel.

It's never too late

You can do it!

Hey Lenny!

You are well on your way to making your dreams become a reality.  The first step is acknowledgment.  Once you've acknowledged and realized that there's more out there, just listen to that inner voice and it will guide and help you make your dreams a reality.
