Sleep and wake

I'm on Day 46 or so. I feel great about my progress. I do my Checklist most days, but I have a terrible time with one of the items: the very first item, getting up.

I find it very hard to get out of bed in the morning. I've been like this since I was a kid. It doesn't matter what time I go to bed. I am so comfortable and relaxed and no matter what, I choose to slumber rather than rise. I know this makes me a sheep.

Now, I'm not ridiculous about it, I get up by 8:00 or 8:30, but I want to get up by 7:00am.  I have a job that I do not need to leave for until noonish.

Anybody have advise on waking up and feeling good?

So far, I've been successful 3 days in a row to get up at 5 a.m. Ahosh's link is pretty helpful. I really reccomend the multiple alarm clock tip. Plus keep a comfy chair by the last alarm clock and relax a bit there.

Trust me, you can do it! And once you get into the habbit, it'll be easy.:D All the best!

says: Hey, that's a good idea. It id definately worth trying. Ill let you know. Thanks!

says: I am a slow starter too. I don't feel awake and sharp untill noon. I found out I can reset my body clock by doing things early in the evening. For example I treat myself to a at home spa night ...Long bath, good book, (No TV or computer) I do this for about two nights in a row and then I start to wake up feeling better in the mornings. It last for about a week and then I seem to go back to the sleepy head days. So it's back to the evening spa nights. Try it, it's fun.
