I will not continue to lie to myself

Here we are again...talking about denying our inner voice.  I have started to notice her talking and did well for a couple of days of listening, but then i find myself lying to myself and see that i have been in denial.  My inner voice has been shouting at me, but i have always justified why today is different.  The last and next was a very good analagy. I find myself doing that all the time. The next will be my last.  I made a pact with myself to cut out the sweets.  No cake, cookies, pie, candy.  I am still working on the list, remembering which sweets are trigger foods.  At this point, i don't want to deprive myself of everything.  But i do pay attention to what i put in my mouth and whether it causing me to want more.  Those are the foods to watch.  Today is a new day. I will not lie to myself to justify my behaviors. I will own my behaviors...name them as they are and stop!

Sometimes we need to.......

Give yourself permission to forgive yourself and keep practicing to change for the posative.  Today is new, terriffic, wonderful, and a change to make a little change.  However small change is good for the better.  You can be ahead with very small changes which will add up to huge changes each day you practive forgiveness for you and renew your efforts to take another step towards your goal(s).

As long as there is life it is not too late to change :-)
