wow! Tools changed my life!

It's been a long ride since I first typed in "the future" into my google search and discovered Tools. I started. I stopped. I started. I stopped.

then just when I thought I was riding high a physical injury knocked me in the dirt. I had to take a ridiculous amount of painkillers just to get through my day. Then the drinking on top of that. Well, I was a wreck both mentally, physically, and spiritually. I was depressed. I hit a low point in my life that cost me my job, my happiness, my confidence, my hope. Tools helped me find my way back. Ten months later not only have i bounced back but i am stronger mentally and physically. I know myself better. I know what i want from life. And I have Tools to help me achieve my goals. There were days when I wished we could just get on with it. There were days when I wanted to quit. There were days when I thought it was stupid. But day by day I worked on being a better person (still working!!). Not a better person for the world but a better person for ME! I learned how to love myself. I learned how to be grateful for the excellent life I have. Tools broke it all down for me day by day. Made me think about each little piece. I remember feeling changes within myself that can only be described as riding a wave. I rode that big wave all the way to solid ground. and when the water pulled back there I was standing on my own two feet. And that is where I am today. Not perfect. Not in fairytale land. Not an overnight success. But able to see my future clearly and able to plan my steps to get there day by day. I have faith in myself. I have tools at my disposal to help propel me forward. I wish I could give Devlyn and his whole crew a big hug. A really big Thank You. They have created the only True Self Improvement Program that I have ever seen. wow. wow.  Thank You. I feel Terrific!!

Great post, you give me hope.  I haven't been on here in ages and just remembered that the site existed and that I was a member.  Your post makes me want to come back and try it again.

Congrats for making it through you trials!

ps.  These graphics are corny but I clicked on one anyway :-)

YEA!  Your story is so inspirational.  Life is truly an inside job.  Taking life and Tools a day at a time you have seen incredible changes du to your willingness to move forward.  I stopped drinking 30 years ago, it is amazing to live a life being and loving who I am. I congratulate you for your ongoing work, great job!
