Procrastination!

Wow, The learning curve continues.  I always thought procrastination as being at a job.  So, when I'd go to the question I'd very "proudly" mark the 10 star knowing  I do not procrastinate.  After all I am a stay-at-home mom.  I don't have a job, Right?  buzzer sounds.  Not true.  Or so I have come to find out with the exercise today.  It includes, things like not doing dishes when you are finished, and picking up the laundry and doing it.  Putting your keys where they belong when you walk in the door and making the bed first thing in the morning, or working out (exercise) when you know you should.  Basically, it's any thing that you say, " OH I'LL DO THAT LATER, OR IT CANT WAIT!!!"  wow, massive paradigm shift.  It means if you don't clean the car when you know it needs it. You are procrastinating.  Wowzers!!  This calls for some serious meditation!!! And, breaking down what I actually procrastinate on and change that.  TODAY IS MY DAY!!!!

Procrastination

I'm retired, so I have a day not that different from yours since there no longer is a job to go to.

I'm only on Day 17 so I haven't gotten the talk about procrastination, but a lot of what you talked about -- keys where they belong, and putting dishes away -- are things I've been working on for the last couple of years too.

Knowing where your glasses are is important if you can't see well enough to find them without them. <grin> I found that out this week when I put them in an "odd" place and didn't know where they were.

Amazing

Every time a little light goes on in my head, my whole world gets brighter.  These realizations are monumental and life changing.  I am retired so my days are my own but I know exactly what you mean.  I love the saying, "Do it....do it right....do it right now"!

Love, Susan
