Lets get it flowing - wanna help?

Wow - these days I just want to type and type and type on this blog all the time - it is so helpful to me in so many ways.....  I hope others are enjoying the TOOLS and taking the time to write every day, at least for me, it has been profound to find my feelings here and to be able to share them freely, AND not the least to have received responses from others that let me know that in some way, what I have experienced is also supporting their journey....as their experiences support mine - ah, isn't that really the key?  How we are all interconnected like cells in a body, working simultaneously to create a healthy organism...  well I believe that to be VERY true - each of us, is a part of the other of us - we all share the same existence - the same 'knowledge' is available to us - sharing in the "current" of life - it is the sharing of our personal undertakings that informs us as to how that organism is doing . . . that remind us of our HEALTHY dependance upon the positive action of ALL of the cells - I care that I am successful - but I also care DEEPLY that YOU are successful....

The more of us that can become aware of using TOOLS every day - that can internalize all of the wonderful ideas about creating a positive existence - well, this might sound a little extreme - but I DO BELIEVE that this can change the world.... it is, as the Coach might call it "the law of accumulation!"

Another thing about this concept is that if all of the cells in our 'body' are interconnected, then when one cell becomes weak or ill, it is surrounded by healthy cells which are then able to "model" healthy cell behavior, and band together to provide healthy support for the 'healing' of that cell.  I don't mean to go getting all esoteric  - i do tend to lean that direction ;^).  Here is a little concept for you that I find very helpful and have used for years when I get 'off track', to try to bolster myself.... :

Imagine that your behavior/reactions/habits/addictions are all just like a flowing river, constantly reacting to the rocks and banks of the river bed - it is muteable and flowing, but basically continues forever in the same direction unless there is effort put in to change it's course - for example,  if you think of the flow of the river as your 'current state' - each time you react the way you always have reacted it increases the 'power' of that flow....  so lets say that you want to CHANGE that flow - each time that you react in this NEW direction, it is as if you have begun digging a little gully to divert the flow in another direction.  Now, depending on how powerful that original flow was, it will take a lot of work to 'dig' that diversion, the power of the original river easily pulls at it - if you continue digging your diversion although you keep getting pulled back in to the original current, you will soon see that the tributary you are trying to create becomes a little wider, a little stronger, it takes more and more effort for the river to pull you away from that new direction - as you continue to flow in your new direction, with every time you make a conscious decision to deepen the tributary it becomes more and more 'ingrained' and as it grows, the energy that is flowing this direction begins to take over, more and more of the river starts 'diverting' - if that tributary is dug consistently - eventually the water will shift - soon the main river begins to dry up, as the tributary has been expanded and the natural flow has been changed forever.  Forever, that is until through your own inaction it is allowed to get all clogged up and dammed through inattention - then, it will definitely flow back down the old and worn but inviting and easy old river bed of negativity.....  the law of accumulation - everywhere.   Path of least resistance - make the tributary the path of least resistance - it will take WORK and PERSEVERANCE to overcome the raging river of our past habits, but if we continue digging, we WILL be able to divert it and in time, no one will even remember where that old river used to flow - a new river bed is made - a new direction found.

I have lost 2 and a half pounds in this week without even consciously trying to "lose weight" - I have just been being conscious and digging that gully toward health...  I have a small trickle going so far - partnering up with others for support is great and help with the 'digging' will obviously make this a quicker task - so I ask for as many of you as want to pitch in - feel free - lets be 'friends' on the site and keep that positive action going . . . the more interaction there is between us, the stronger we can be - I'm diggin' with you or without - but I sure would love to see you next to me with shovel in hand - lets get this puppy DUG.

Oh yeah, and there is some weird "bug" thing on my main blog page, if you click to read it, it appears as if there is nothing there, but there is, you just have to scroll down to it a bit.... I am trying to figure out the issue

You are so right

Gentle suasion, leading by digging those little eddy spots, is the only way to change the world, I think, to change it for the better and permanently.  Sometimes, it seems like you are getting nowhere, but look at the Grand Canyon....

Whereas, conflagrations, earthquakes, large protests, anger, war, all disrupt the pattern of life but the change is not permanent, nor good, nor beautiful.

Thanks for the beautiful, thought provoking posting - and have  a great day!
