I spent most of my childhood being shipped around trying to figure out why people didn't want me.  I suppose the lucky thing for me it the fact that i was being shipped between family members. 

My parents were divorced by the time i was 2, the result of what i can only imagine is because my mother had me at the age of 16 and my father 4 years her elder. 

I spent part of my childhood with my grandparents, then my father, then my mother.  I was with each one for different amounts of time.

My mom had found a new boyfriend that she spent the next 13 years of her life with and never married.  I ended up living with them most of the 13 years before my mother left him which i couldn't have been more happy about. 

My father seemed to want me around when it was convenient for him.  That was something i grew acustomed to.

My mother and i moved in with my grandmother before she found a job and met her current husband who has been more of a father to me then anyone else.  We moved to a town about half an hour away from my home town and at the time i thought it was the end of the world for me, come to find out it was one of the best things that ever happend.  I finally met real friend and felt like i belonged. 

Since then i graduated high school and went to college for a couple years.  I met an amazing girl who i eventually made my wife.

Throughout my life i have always felt alone and not good enough.  I have had low self-esteem and a feeling of detachment from the world. 

I joined this site hoping to feel better about myself and be happy with myself.
