I've been pootling around here a little while now and I've just come acoaacross this introduction page.  So a little more about me.  I'm a Basic Skills Lecturer and I teach literacy to those who have trouble with with it.  

II live by myself, but I have a somewhat psychotic Jack Russell/Whippet/Border Collie (this is according to my vet at least) called Kevin.

No I didn't pick his name.  He's a rescue dog and had been beaten up badly by a previous owner.  He needed love, and I had plently give.  It's not a match made in heaven, but he's a super pooch who's given me so much and I love him to bits.

Gawd.  I sound like a besotted owner.  Shoot me.  C'est moi.

What else?  I'm a Sagittarian, redheaded, with a temper to match.  I'm feisty, sassy and can be a handful.  But when you get to know me I'm, funny, loyal, outgoing a darn good friend and an excellent listener.

Walt Whitman once said said, 'do I contradict myself?  Very well then.  I contradict myself.  I am large.  I contain multitudes.'  That sort of sums me up.

Other interests?  Self-development.  That's on an ongoing thing for me, hence my lurking within these walls.  I'm never going to be perfect (that's an overrated virtue anyways) but I can sure as hell have some fun in trying to develop myself.  I love reading, creative writing, gardening, surfing the internet (I'm a net geek) spending time with aforementioned dog, wicca, and spiritually.  Oh I also love Sci-Fi, ghosts, Shakespeare, Harry Potter, and Doctor Who.
