My Inspiration - Martin

Not talking about myself, but the Saint I am named after.Martin De Porres, the patron saint of Social Justice, the sick, the poor,  and animals. These days, I admit I am not a very religious person , I'm more spiritual. But as a little boy I was brought up to revere this saint. He is also on»

Smiling in the rain and being patient (and wet)

Caught up on the podcasts on visualisation this week, only discovered them when a few people mentioned them in blogs.Coach mentioned that the reason people don't often meet their goals is a lack of patience, when things don't happen overnight, they give up, they become distant dreams.Patienc»

Ups and downs, but a Rising Sun

Been a bit of an up and down week, but the downs did not seem to last long, I seem to bounce back quicker than ever these days.On Monday found out that a former colleague of mine died in an industrial accident, three weeks ago. We hadn’t worked together for 10 years, but I met him and his wife»

Persist and accumulate...at a steady pace

Had my 7th Guitar lesson last night, 3 more to go before the summer break. I felt I went a little backwards during the week, but if I measure from Day 1, I've come a long way (just like Tools), as have my 3 fellow pupils.   1) a carer and poetess,  2) painter and decorat»
