The mind is everything

"The mind is everything. What you think you become"

An Old Buddhist proverb, we have all seen variations of it, and how true.

At my counselling course, one fellow student, just back from seing the Dalai Lama gave me some insight into Buddhism, meditation and the 5 piosons of Buddhism. What she said reminded me of what Eckhart Tolle has been saying in the New Earth. I will try to learn more next week.

Felt so good yesterday, but today was a grind at work, despite all my efforts to counteract negative thoughts began to feel I was falling backwards. Off day perhaps.

But last night what my friend said got me back on track.

Also, reminded me of St Nicks great blog yesterday of giving away my power, done that for so  many years, its a struggle to hold on to it, but one worth fighting.

The mind IS everything.

I think I need to revise those train your brain excercises, renew my motivational tapes.

What I think I WILL become.
