Thanks for the boost. I always have fun. That's one of the reasons I don't fit the profile of an accountant. I can do the work but I like people and I like to laugh. I have a feeling that you don't have the usual personality for an accountant either. I spent two weeks in Telford Newtown, England working with the bookkeeper and the chartered accountant to make the Horton Automatics UK financials translate into the ones in the US. The personalities were very much the same in both places. Good luck on the music and the counselling. I hope you find where you wish to go.

Thanks so much Martin43! Your page rocks - you obviously got the music thing right. My paternal grandmother liked to think she was a Scot (she was actually born in Cumbria - close enough I suppose) and as I result I attended Highland Dancing classes (and gatherings) for 19 years of my life! So, if you ever want someone to dance in your castle, it could be arranged. Was in Scotland last year on a "Thelma and Louise" with a couple of friends, we had an absolute gas. Good food, good fun and great company. Your kinsmen sure know how to party Best wishes, Celtic Moon x

I live in sunny Scotland, near Glasgow.

I have been in Finance jobs most of my working life, while dreaming about a different life, in some other artistic or humanitarian venture. 

I thought it was time to stop dreaming of what might be and make it a reality, so my goals are being set, and progress is being made.

So I've been learning guitar the last 10 months.

I've also taken an interest in Couselling and have just finished the Counselling Skills course, I started last year, only just a mere beginner, but a possible new path.

Family and friends are important to me, I keep in contact by every means possible as often as possible.

says: sometimes i think we just need to take a different route to work, go to a different place for lunch, listen to a different radio station and whammo before you know it you get a whole bunch of ideas. Try and write down as many ideas as you can think of in 2 minutes, then take one of the ideas and use that to write down as many ideas as you can think from that. You may be surprised that this works if yo practice it.
