New Beginnings

I had to give myself a stern talking to yesterday! I weighed in for The Biggest Loser contest at school and according to THAT scale I was only down 1.9 pounds. I was disappointed, for about a nanosecond, until my inner voice kicked in. Its just a scale, it doesn't own me. I know the changes I have made and are making are going to pay off and I feel GREAT!

Phew! Thank goodness for inner voices! :-)

Yesterday was Shopping Day for me on Tools so I went to a store here called Ten Thousand Villages that supports third world trade and bought an elephant! (Ok, a tray with elephants on it ) I smile every time I look at it, its a great reminder of the PFR. Thanks Coach!

The Power of the Elephant

You're inner voice is right.  You were down 1.9 not up 1.9.  Celebrate your successes and be kind to yourself when you fall short.  You're a wonderful person who should not be judged by a scale.  Keep up the good work.  Cool

baby steps. :)

congrads on your 1.9 lbs! Remember to think of all the short term goals that lead up to your long term. Another 1.9 and another 1.9 and another will definitly add up and you'll be where you want to be! :)

Keep up the good work.

Thanks!

It feels great to have the support!
