Building Confidence

The fat sales man

I am overweight and I know what I need to do to change that. I have an opportunity to be healthy in this lifetime. And that’s great.

For a while now, I have been afraid to approach local merchants with my ideas on improving their revenue. Even though I have confidence in the idea, I have no confidence in myself.

I suspect this is because I see a fat man in the mirror, and I don’t see a gifted person with great ideas that will benefit others.

I am asking myself what can I do to improve my confidence and it seems clear to me that to get the confidence I want; I have to take action first.

Confidence is built by action.

It feels right when I say out loud that confidence is created with action. Courage is feeling the fear and taking action anyway.

I am deciding now to move forward with my marketing ideas and approach other business owners about working with them.

What’s the worst they can do? Say no? (ha)
