Time Out? Or push through?

So I am so far behind on implementing the cheklist that I feel overwhelmed by it...should I pause and backtrack a little or keep going?

I'm also a perfectionist so its hard for me not to toss the entire checklist out if I don't follow it to a T...So I end up being afraid of failing and not even trying to do it some days...

Melissmoo, Whatever you decide to do, don't give up.  It took me 30 days, but I'm now on day 4.  Let's just say I had a long learning curve, but I've got it now.  Some of us just take longer than others.  But that's OK.  We are unique individuals.  You say you are afraid of failing...there is no shame in failing.  We cannot know success unless we have failed at something.  It's not the end of the world as we know it.  So what if you do fail at something?  So what?  I think you're being too hard on yourself.  Forgive yourself, accept that everything doesn't have to be perfect.  And just keep going.  When I'm feeling over whelmed, I remember that I was asked one time if I knew the secret of eating an entire elephant.  I said no.  I was told you eat the elephant........one bite at the time.   Just do what you can when you can, and you WILL get where you want to be.  Sincerely, Beverly
