Welcome!!!!!!
Its so awesome to see you here. This is a great place to be full of supportive and loving people. I personally feel that this program is the most amazing program I've ever seen. The way it changes your life is dramatic but it comes through very simple changes. Please keep logging in because I'm so excited to see your progress. My ex-husband is an alcoholic and addict so I know how hard it is for you to take these steps. He never did and that's why he's my ex :(
I feel the need to tell you something about AA. Be careful of who you associate with there. There are people there who want to change and then there are people there who are just card-signers. The card-signers are only there to get their card signed for their probation/parole officer and then they go drinking afterward. These people are dangerous to your sobriety. Choose your friends there carefully.
Good Luck!
Welcome aboard, and again good luck, I'm no expert but i have not drank in over 2 years, i won't preach or lecture, but if you have any questions I'll give you what I know, I'll share my knowledge if it helps...Personally I'm gettin along quite well with this tools to life deal, I like it......GoodLuck!
Good luck

Serenity is the finest wine!
Hi, I was married to a man with a drinking problem and I did everything to help him...losing myself in the process. Light went on when I realized I wasn't being loving to him by taking on his problem for him...it was far more loving to give him the dignity to deal with his issues and work on my life to find the happy carefree girl he married originally. Unfortunately, the marriage did not last but that is not the point I want to make. What I want to say is that if you love this woman pay attention to the times that she is having to manage your problem (eg. taking away your car keys)or how your drinking is diminishing the quality of her life and take responsibility for your drinking. You guys look too beautiful to not work out.
Welcome
The journey starts with this step!
