day 6 and day 7 of sobriety

WOW day 7 of sobriety, and i owe it mostly to my inner desire to stay sober and the help of ttl and the people on it as well as aa. But i must admit it has been challenging and this has been by far the longest week of my life filled with the ups and downs that one would expect to come with sobriety. I have learned that i dont know anything about living life. To be entirely honest i dont even know what real emotions are, i know what i think they are. i dont know how to feel most of the time in response to the worlds stimulus around me. What is true happiness what is sadness. what am i supposed to feel when nothing is going on around me. until now i knew how i felt i felt drunk or high. i felt nothing. well i cant say i felt nothing cuz i sure as hell know what guilt feels like and i know what it feels like to let down people around you and not give a shit about it. both feelings i hope in time to never feel again. and every morning when i wake up and say i am having a great day i reflect on all the mornings i woke up and said what happened yesterday and is sumone gonna be mad at me today. having feelings that i did something to sumone and being so worried that it would be a shitty day. not anymore for me, i am sober and happy and damn proud. thank you ttl and thanks to everyone that has commented to my blogs. your supports and tips have helped me greatly and are much appreciated. thank you.

You ARE doing it- keep going!!!!

Way to go! Way to go!

First 7 days of the rest of your life!!

Congratulations!  One day at a time, that is true for so much of what we do and as my mother used to say to help me fight my demons when I finally faced up to them, when one day gets to long to face, break it down to one hour at a time and you WILL get the best of it instead of it getting the best of you!!  You are making a huge difference in your life and the life of those you love.  Keep doing what your doing and be proud of yourself.
