Attitude

Today's lesson was about attitude, and how it affects your life and how you ultimately control it. This was a big lesson for me because I have always blamed my life and its problems including my drinking problems on my environment. I used to love to use the saying that we are a product of our environment, and i have been thinking  a lot about that saying lately and i have formulated that our environment is actually a product of us and the people who live in it. I am noticing that as my mood gets better and i start to change the ways that i think and the ways i let things effect me i begin to lose the urge to drink so much. I am starting to take control of my attitude and take responsibility for the way i feel and the things i do. and it is mainly because of aa and ttl. It is also because i have the users of ttl supporting me and i am very appreciative of it. thank you for your support and have a wonderful day i know i will.

Good for you!

I am happy for you, it sounds like you are working hard at making changes in your life!

You can do it, keep going! You can do it, keep going!

My attitude is my decision

Boy, do I ever hear those words coming from my  inner voice!  You are so right about how we affect our environment, our relationships.  Some of the best things I've learned from this program are to turn my negativity off, smile more, and think before I speak/react.  I notice so many more people talking to me.  I guess I am more approachable now.  It is a good feeling.  I am still working on my attitude but it is vastly improved.  Here's to good moods and great attitudes! Have a wonderful day!
