Finished Day 2, but a long way to go

Hi everyone who reads this -

I want to stick with this program.  I realize I have a long way to go but that is not a reason to give up.

My stress level is still high, but I am trying to internalize the messages - I may not be able to change events right now, but I can choose how to react to them.  My reaction in the end, may make or break the situation, only time will tell.

I am struggling a bit with using alcohol and pain killers as a crutch, for which I am very ashamed.  It helps me cope, but I know its not the answer.  I hope the answer lies in the course and that is why I have to continue.

I am surprised that a) the course is free and b) it looses so many people after just one day.  I think the feedback and support I am getting from others out there is almost as valuable as the course itself.  I think more people should stick with it.

Anyway, I have to go. Thanks again everyone for your cheers and feedback, and here's looking to day 3.

Tools Community Support

Welcome to tools!  I have only been here 5 days myself.  The encouragement and support that I have received has been overwhelming.  I never thought the kindness of strangers still exsited but, I have found it here and so will you.

You can do it, keep going! You can do it, keep going!

Stand Tall

You say you want to stand for yourself but you need the killer combo. l truly get that... l had my own crutch of the white powder... but now l see the true life l have and where l can go... the past is the past all with its grief and sorrow. But you are alive and starting your new path. This path will get wider and more clear as you go. Through Tools l have learned that the more you remove the baggage from your back the faster you will be able to walk and it will give you more room to walk the path...

Stop warring the past like a comfortable Blanket its smelly and its hard to see what is truly underneath.

l wish to give you luck on this but luck has nothing to do with it... it will be your ability to see your own life through your own eyes with your own heart.

Peace

Thanks Again Everyone

The support is great.  It really does make a difference.  I am going to try to get out there to other bloggers and offer the same support, because I know how great it feels to receive so I want to try and pass it on.

Well, on to day 3 I go.
