Island

 

It is day 13. It was a good day. I was getting ready for a party and I heard in my mind "suppose you were blind ." I ignored it at first but it did not go away. I finally said ok I'm blind.Then I heard" and you believed you were on an island surrounded by sharks".I thought ok, I'm on an island surrounded by sharks .then I heard" If some one were to tell you were not on an island and it was safe to move how would you know?"I thought I could ask them to take my hand and show me the way.

That is when I understood.My Island is in my head. I have been blind to the possibilities in life . I have lived in fear of what might be ,not of what is real. Today I do not have to live in fear.I have someone to take my hand and show me the way.

One can imagine standing there paralyzed with mistrust and fear...forever. OR!

It's good to know the distinction.  Just always be watchful of that "island" in case it tries to change the already smooth course.  Looks like you're strong and positive enough not to let things slip your way.  Keep at it.
