I have found my voice

I realized that no one can make me feel bad about myself without my permission . I also noticed that with all the problems last week with my family they could not make me feel differently about myself.I deserve to be treated with respect .I am feeling good about myself.I have found my voice. Smile

You go girl!!!!

I'm so glad you have found your voice - and remember, that voice doesn't have to be one of strident anger. You can quietly and calmly say to any members of your family "You're being rude. I don't appreciate it." Then just look at them - don't smile to soften the message- just look at them, and let it register.

You're doing great. I really want to affirm you for recognising that you do have a voice - some people never do, their whole lives. You are luckier than you realise. Keep us posted.

Nope, they can't make you feel bad about yourself.  Keep going, you're doing great!  I'm still having trouble in this area, but inspired to do better.
