THRILL OF VICTORY

I just came up from 'walking' my garbage bin down the hill. At first, I fought with myself because it is very windy and cold out and I wanted to 'drive' it down. My inner voice told me it was not that windy and that it would do me good. My inner voice told me that I did not drink enough water this weekend and I would feel so much better after my climb up. I LISTENED to my inner voice! I WON!

YOU HAVE TO IMAGINE  my joy, as I was walking down 6 deer crossed my path...jumping and running and to me  a MAGNIFICANT sight to see. I love to see the deer eating peacefuly in my yard. Further down, a gust of wind dropped leaves and it gave the illusion of snow falling. I looked up and it was a wonderful feeling  to see them fall and some land near my feet with drops of water on them.  Ivy plants all along the path with the color of green gave me a sign of HOPE and that all is not lost.  PERSEVERANCE..........

further down, I  saw acorns on the ground and the school bus picking up children for a busy day at school.

I looked up on my way back and thanked  GOD  for this moment in my life. I took a deep belly breath (actually several) and found an inner peace....TRANQUILITY!

and all this while 'walking' down my garbage bin......................IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE!
