SERVICE

What I wanted to be a lovely evening out with a wonderful romatic dinner turned into a feasco at the restaurant.  The tuna was overcooked, the vegetable were wrong, the salad had the wrong salad dressing and they did not put the salad dressing on the side. We walked in and they were fixing the ceiling, they could not find the dinner menu............and all this was at one of the classiest restaurants in town.

I made the most of it, however. Laughed at the whole thing.  They charged us for EVERYTHING! WE brought it to the attentionof the chef and the owner and they did not take  ANYTHNG off the bill. Not even a glass of wine. I came home and wrote them a nice little note to the fact. I let them know every little detail and said I hope it was worth a glass of wine NOT  to have 2 people come back. If they are the last restaurant on Earth, I will not go there.

Why do I say this?

Because the old me would have put up a stink! I would have complained, whined, and caused  an even worse experience. Instead, I laughed at the situation, came home and wrote a note (which is more effective) and probably didnot make my blood pressure go up. I obviously brought it to the chef and owner's attention but they choose not to handle it properly. I did my part.

Why did I handle it differently? TOOLS.

TOOLS AND MORE TOOLS!

I did this photo a long time ago to show the ugliness of smoking. the model is my brother and he used to smoke but has long since  QUIT!
