FEELING GROOVY!!!!

It feels like that old song that used to say "FEELING GROOVYYYYYY" backin the 70's (yes, I am dting myself, but so what....life is good!) I feel so at peace. The  2 answers from my blog yesterday uplifted my spirits. It is so great to know people care. Total strangers that really care about you. What a wonderful world!

I told my partner that I really only need to worry about myself and my example will be a shining light for her and she will soon follow. I  get up, she follows  in 10 minutes and we excercie together.....she has noticed my weight loss and has been very very loving as of late.  Could it be my attitude making a difference? YOU BET!

I have also been givng bits of TOOLS  as presents to my friends that claim they don't have time for TOOLS.....I call and encourage them and bring them a bit of cheer and a bit of what I learned today. Now they look forward to my calls but still no time for TOOLS......it is too funny!

Tonight we go to a Hockey game to celebrate a friend's birthday.  It should be fun. This girl has NEVER  celebrated her birthday because she came from a family of 9 kids and they just did not celebrate birthdays. I want to give her a nice celebration.

Last night I met my friend at  a terrific spanish restaurant that has yummy food and all I had was a big bowl of fresh veggie soup and a bottle of water. DID I FEEL GOOD ABOUT THAT? BET YA I DID....

This morning I go  weigh in........and I am not afraid of that scale.......I am in total control.

THANKS COACH!!!!

scales are dirty rotten liars!

My scales are dirty rotten liars. They always say I weigh the same but the tape measure  and my belt tells me differently.

I think the tape measure (Upper arms, bust/chest, tummy, hips, thighs) gives a better and more realistic benchmark......

After all, as you walk down the street, people don't look at how heavy you are or are not.... they look at your shape...

When I tell people how much i weigh they are often amazed but they almost aways comment they can't see "that much!" on me. People are so polite these days! haha

Good luck with the scales. i hope they are kind to you.

Great blog

I've  heard you cannot keep something unless you give it away.  I guess that is working for you with tools.  You do the work and give away the lessons to family and friends.....thus keeping it for yourself in the process.  good idea!
