I am new at this and not really sure what to say.  I am married, in the proccess of adoption (nobel or foolish man at the age of 61).  I am at a crossroads,  I was recently politely asked to leave my job of 9 yerars.  I can not seem to sign up for unemplyment, this summer I remained out of work, babysitting for the 5 year old--it saved some money, but he started school and now I should do something.  I thought about many things -- start a new job, start my own business, or use my savings to get to retirement and the hell with the rat race.  As you can see I have some choices, but what to I have decided to finish remodeling the house before I do anything else.  My to do list is so long and I am always thinking, but not acting.  I am trying to convince myself that it is motivation and not maturity holding me up.
